Green Kitchen

Today we painted for the first time at our house.  We decided to paint the kitchen an olive green color.  We only ended up painting a few walls, but it seemed to take forever going around cabinets and appliances.  Now we just have a few touch-ups to do and then we’ll be done…with the kitchen anyway.  We’ll see when we can muster enough energy to move on to another room.  Check out our time lapse video painting the kitchen and photos of the final product.

  1. it looks awesome! good color choice! one (well 2) words of advice – goof off. it will take dried latex paint, as well as a host of other things, off of just about anything! it was a life saver when we were painting. i’m not very careful!

  2. I love the color! But I love the time lapse of you guys doing it even more! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Nice work – glad you changed the p.o.v. after the metering issue on the first angle. You should try some goofing off as well with these time lapses. Kate’s suggestion actually made me think of it – goof off, goofing off. Go figure.

  4. This has nothing to do with your kitchen (good job though), but I couldn’t find a way to contact you otherwise. Don’t tell me there is a way, because I looked for what could be considered minutes and could not find one. Anyway, I found a Fiddleke barn at located in Delaware County Iowa near Manchester. Thought you might find it interesting. Kelly wants to know if it is yours?
