Relay for Life 2012
This year I am again participating in Relay for Life, an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society to raise money that helps communities across the world celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Downtown Iowa City Photos
We attended the Iowa City Chamber Singers Gala yesterday afternoon (Kieran is a member). It was held on the 11th floor of the Plaza Towers downtown… so we took a few photos of the view.
The Tree is Up
We put up the tree and decorations – the house is looking much more festive!
And the Beard is Gone!
I participated in No-shave November this year, and since yesterday was the last day of the month, the beard came off. It was definitely time! While the beard looked ok, it was itchy, and it’s removal was overdue. I put together a quick beard shaving video with some stills of the shaving highlights (a little lamb-chop action!). Enjoy!
Thanksgiving geocaching
Happy Thanksgiving! After gobbling up some turkey we went geocaching. Marj even found her first cache.

Unfortunately we did not win that game, but still had a good time at the final tailgate of the year (the theme was pizza grilling!). You’ll also notice a bit more facial hair.
